I’d give nut milks a go, as I’m going to try dairy free soon and the thought of buying soy milk doesn’t inspire me at all!!

Lovely website Di, well done πŸ™‚

I have just had 2 discs replaced in my neck and have pain, nauseau and lost 2 kgs in 5 days. The first thing I would do with this brilliant machine is get one of my kids to make me a Pineapple and Banana Smoothie with Ginger. It sounds the perfect smoothie for recovery. Ps the website and Facebook page are fantastic.

Congratulation Di! You’ve made all your FB followers including me, of course, happy again. I have been wanting to have this Optimum blender for long but could not afford it. I use my Aldi blender for my green smoothie every morning and I will be delighted to win this blender so I can make the cauliflower rice and pizza dough.

Hi Di, huge congratulations. I sincerely love you recipes, in fact your book is already looking dogeared, go to it almost on a daily basis. The blender would be an enormous benefit in my quest to better health.

    •    Reply

Thank you Olivia, so glad my book is getting a good workout at your place. All the best for the draw πŸ™‚

  •    Reply

I bought your e-book ages ago, and have used it quite a bit, so this is very exciting! I would love one of those heavy-duty blenders and I think the first thing might be a yummy soup…or blending some nuts to make a raw berry “cheesecake” – hmmm, I think it would be just whizzing away all day on lots of delicious things!! All the best on everything you’re doing. It’s just so helpful to so many people.

    •    Reply

Thank you Jenny πŸ™‚ Sounds like you have quite a list of things to make with the blender!! Best of luck πŸ™‚

  •    Reply

The first thing I would whip up is some peanut butter for the kids sandwiches. Yummy

  •    Reply

Already have your book and love it! But I’m sure I’d have no problem finding a home for another one πŸ™‚ I need a new blender because mine ruined my rum balls the other day…I used it to crush up my biscuits and mix everything together. Only to find it it tasted burnt because my blender is on the way out! πŸ™ I’m sure you can imagine my frustration after baking the biscuits and making the condensed milk….
Can’t wait to browse your website for some more yummy recipes!

    Jess

    •    Reply

Oh Jess, I certainly can imagine your frustration!! πŸ™ A quicker way to make the rum balls is to use a couple of cups of almond meal in place of the biscuits….so much quicker πŸ˜‰

  •    Reply

  •    Reply

Congratulations Di, your new blog looks great ! the first thing I would do is whip up some sunbutter [made from sunflower seeds] …..ive been ordering jars of it from the states and it gets a bit expensive ((( the juicer was NOT a success at making it …..

  •    Reply

Only recently discovered you on FB. Thank goodness for people like yourself. Decided to go sugar free Dec 2013 after reading ‘Sweet Poison’. Easier said than done for someone like me who can cook with a recipe in front of them, but there’s not many sugar free recipes out there. I don’t mind experimenting, but it’s more miss than hit at the moment. I’ve been using IQS recipes a lot and am looking forward to trying your recipes. It’s also a massive challenge to maintain a sugar free household with 4 kids. If I won the blender, I’d try to make my own coconut butter as my current blender didn’t cut it and it was added to my list of sugar free cooking failures.

    •    Reply

Well done on going sugar free Tenille. It can be a bit tricky maintaining it with the whole household, but keep up the great work. All my recipes are tested on my kids, so give some of mine a go with your munchkins. All the best πŸ™‚

So exciting!! Great website…and super comp πŸ™‚
The first thing I’d whip up with my blender is my daughters excitement as I give it to her πŸ™‚

Oh – and I’d give her the book too as I have one and LOVE it!!

  •    Reply

Love your recipes. The blender would make better icing sugar than the blender I’m using at the moment.

  •    Reply

The first thing I’d whizz up would be a green smoothie. I started a couple of months ago, every morning and sipped on my way to work. I felt better instantly and loved the energy and vitality. Then my blender died and I just haven’t been able to afford a new one, well a new decent one. This one definitely ticks all the boxes I need.

Hey congrats on the new site. Truth be told my wife does ALL the cooking in my house, but I know how much she loves sites just like this one so I’m always on the look out for sites I can share with her. This is definitely one of them! Oh, and if I was lucky enough to win the blender, I’d try making up something myself for once, and considering we’re about to hit cooler weather, I reckon a bit of practice making healthy vegetable soups before winter might be in order! Mmmm

  •    Reply

I think my first blend would have to be peanut and almond butter. My all time favourite homemade spread. My little food processor struggles a bit with that!
